Manchester United's Amad Diallo is likely to miss the rest of the season due to an ankle ligament injury he suffered during training ¹ ² ³. This is a significant blow to the team, especially with other key players already out due to injuries. - *Injured Players:*     - _Kobbie Mainoo_: out for a few weeks     - _Toby Collyer_ and _Manuel Ugarte_: expected to miss the Tottenham Hotspur clash     - _Lisandro Martinez_: season-ending anterior cruciate ligament injury     - _Luke Shaw_, _Tom Heaton_, _Mason Mount_, _Jonny Evans_, and _Altay Bayindir_: carrying concerns Manager Ruben Amorim expressed his concerns about the team's injuries, stating that they had a good week until two days ago when some problems arose ¹. The team will have to adapt and find ways to compensate for the absent players.  

  Manchester United coach Amorim rebuild will be kickstart in January transfer with a statement signing of one of the must talented and in demand striker. Ruben Amorim who inherited a vulnerable squad from the previous manager Eric ten hag is doing everything possible to restructure the team in his own image and build a strong team that is capable of competing at the very high level, is interested in signing Napoli super star Victor osimhen. Osimhen who is in loan with galatasaray is a target to many European giant clubs like Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG and arsenal. The Nigeria super star is having a great season at galatasaray.  Manchester United star defender was replaced mid way during EFL cup match against Tottenham Hotspur, in what could be a big blow to Ruben Amorim Manchester United. Victor Linderlof was taken off and replaced by Jonny Avns. Marcus Rashford of Manchester United for the last few months at the football club have been under scrutiny as the player have not been able to live up with the expectations of the United fans, the arrival of the new coach Amorim was thought to be the turning point in his career at the club but all signs shows things are not working out with the young man who is finding it difficult to rediscover his form since 2022 when he produced the best football of his career. Rashford had a season to forget last year and is facing a similar trend this year, he was left out of the recent all important Darby match against Manchester city. Nigeria super star Ademola Lookman has been name the best Africa player of the year 2024. Lookman who was nominated alongside Simon Adingra, Achraf Hakimi, and other African stars was named by the confederation of Africa football the winner of this year CAF men's player award. Lookman who have the best season of his career in 2024 won a Europa League with Atalanta scoring a hat-trick in the final match against Bayern Leverkusen, he was also instrumental to the super eagles campaign in the total energies Africa cup of the nations where he scored three goals and assisted one. He also finished 13th in the 2024 balloon dio ranking  This development have seen Nigeria players wins the award for the last two years, Victor osimhen won the award for the previous year  The award also marked a significant achievement of the young super eagles attacker in his career   

  Few days before the ceremony, the confederation of Africa football has released the names for the final shortlist of the 2024 CAF men's player of the year award.
